Bio
Stephen J Writes from the soul. His lyrics have an honest working class root and his heart is poured out in every performance, he sings of events in his life and his feelings within. His music tells stories of lost friends, his battle with mental health, bullying and his struggle to feel excepted in the music world.
He is currently unsigned and looking for acts who would like him to be a support artist.

Another Chat With Stephen J ( Jan 2018)
Now you have recorded your first EP what next? -- Well, it's up to the listeners really.....if they like it I would love to perform it! I will be looking to support acts firstly, anyone out there whom would like me to support their show I would be very interested.

You have a "FlipSide" EP, what is that all about? -- I had some songs I really wanted on the first EP but just didn't have them ready for the studio slot, so, we ( the band) got together in our rehearsal room and just "jammed them" I wanted a live sound, the EP has blues roots and I believe if it's over produced it just doesn't feel right.

What does 2018 hold for you and what will you be doing? -- Another two EP's at least of my own material, I have an acoustic one in the making ATM. I am also writing with a lyricist Neil Baker who has some really amazing words! I have been working with him on this for about 6 months and we are close to a demo stage, I'm really excited about this work. Of course I have ABBaKus too, we will continue to Gig and basically have fun with our music! So......BUSY BUSY!
